Tea Blend of the Day: New Peach Cobbler Tea

Peach Cobbler TeaSweet teas continue to be the rage and this one is no exception. But it still provides you with a big health kick (unlike real Peach Cobbler) and it tastes irresistable. We did offer up a Peach Cobbler Tea earlier this year, but I think this one tastes just a bit better. Let me know which you prefer!

Here’s the blend:

Peach Cobbler Tea: Use 1.5 teaspoons of Peach Tranquility Herbal tea, 1 teaspoon of Rooibos Peach Bloom, 1 teaspoon of Rooibos Vanilla and 1 teaspoon of Silver Needle White tea. Heat 8oz of water to 175-180 degrees (before boiling) and steep for 3 minutes. Although this tea is already a little sweet, you can also add our natural Rock sugar for an extra bit of sugar.

This tea is also excellent as an iced tea – just double the amount of tea you use.

The Silver Needle is added just for the health benefits; it doesn’t affect the taste, but adds a bunch of antioxidants and helps detoxify your body. The Rooibos and herbal tea adds vitamins and minerals and the Rooibos helps with allergies. And this tea also includes Chamomile, which helps to relax and soothe your body. So it is perfect at night, just before bed.

If drinking it at night, I recommend hot. But during the middle of the day it’s nice to have an iced version (in my opinion, of course). Hope you enjoy this one!

I tried this tea and to me all I can taste is the peach. It didn’t give me the cobbler feel, there wasn’t a buttery taste like the crust of cobbler. Maybe if I added more vanilla the crust taste would have been there. However since the Vanilla is one that is going to be discontinued I’d have to find another tea to use anyway to get the buttery taste. I feel the old version had more of a cobbler taste but both of them are missing something to me it seems

This blend is great with the addition of Honeybush Vanilla in lieu of Rooibos Vanilla!

At the Water Tower Place location in Chicago we make a peach cobbler with Peach Tranquility, Rooibos Vanilla, and a hint of Rooibos Chai. Put your silver needle in of course, but if not, add a Mate Yerba or Mate Lemon Blast to intensify the flavor. SERVE IT COLD…peach cobblers may have too many intense flavors as a hot tea, and when icing it, you definitely experience ALL the flavors.

I like the idea of adding the Rooibos Chai.

As for adding either vanilla teas I’ve heard both are going to be taken off the market so I am trying to find teas that are staying to get customers interested in, course with the new ones coming there are more combinations we can all come up with
