More than 70 percent of the poorest people on the planet are women and children. We have the power to help change their world. By lending us your voice, you will join thousands of others who are speaking out for policies that help break the cycle of poverty.

Enter our TeavanaCARES.com contest by submitting your statement of empowerment along with an email address and be entered to win our grand prize of a $500 gift certificate that can be used online or in Teavana stores! Teavana will also be randomly giving away awards (EquaTrade Gift Set, gift cards) to posts that inspire us every week. (Contest runs from June 24, 2010 through September 1, 2010. The winner will be chosen and announced on September 2, 2010)
