Sweeten Up Your Cup: rock cane sugar & honey

As the weather warms up, I begin to imagine all of the lovely sweet treats that I will soon enjoy outside in the sunshine. Although, I am not waiting to hear the bells of the ice cream truck, but am instead anticipating the tall glasses of sweetened tea. By combining a dab of honey or small piece of rock sugar with a delicate floral blend, you are on your way to creating the ultimate indulgence.

It’s important to use quality sweeteners that enhance a tea’s flavor without altering it. Unprocessed Rock Cane Sugar won’t overpower a tea due to its purity. It’s best to add the unprocessed sugar during the steeping process. Although honey is best when added directly into your brewed cup of tea. If you’re looking for something sweet and creamy you might want to try Organic Volcano White Honey, which is unheated and from a single floral source.

I recommend adding a piece of rock sugar or a dab of decadent honey to a floral blend, such as Sweet Lilly White Tea, to enhance the delicate sweetness of the rose and marigold petals.

enjoy the sweet (tea) moments!
