Debbie -
Tea sometimes turns cloudy when it's chilled too quickly (i.e. putting it straight into the fridge while still quite warm).Tannins, more prevalent in black tea, will especially turn tea cloudy when iced.

Let your freshly made tea cool to room temperature before putting it in the fridge if the cloudiness concerns you, but it's strictly just a visual thing and won't effect the healthiness of your brew.

If you'd like you can add a pinch of baking soda to the brew & it shouldn't affect the taste & should keep it clear.

You might see a little chocolate haze just at the bottom of the pitcher though. ;)

I Love the cacao mint black tea...iced. When I first make the pitcher, it is translucent, but by the next day, it is all cloudy almost to the point of opaqueness. Is that just the chocolate haze? It still tastes great, and I Love to have that as one of my three flavors of iced teas ready to go.

I just love peppermint tea. I always have the pound size tin filled in my apartment. I have a cup every night before I go to bed, it is very relaxing and helps your digestive system.

I was introduced to your teas by my daughter in Miami and I am now off coffee and hooked on Teavana!!! I live in New Orleans and the closest store is 60 miles away in Baton Rouge. PLEASE open a store in New Orleans so I can go in and shop in stead of online shopping. I KNOW I would spend wayyyy more money in a store just smelling everything!
