Love Thanksgiving More with Oolong
Love Turkey? How about the side dishes? Thanksgiving is a great time for eating, but I have a secret for you: you can enjoy Thanksgiving a bit more with Oolong teas.
Oolong tea is often served at Chinese restaurants for good reason. It’s the perfect tea for enjoying a meal – and a must-have for eating high-cholesterol meals. Oolong does a couple of things:
- Oolong teas help you digest your food.
- Oolong teas help lower the intake of fat from high-cholesterol meals.
- Tannic acid in Oolong teas help reduce your cholesterol.

I purchased a blended tea a year ago that included the Jasmine Phoenix pearls and another tea. It is a very fragrant, flowery scented tea which was advertised to be a great stress reliever. I have lost the tag and can’t remember the second tea blended. Any ideas?
