No Need to Fear Those Holiday Pounds

Mmmm, creamy eggnog, a savory turkey, and the sweet crunch of a Christmas cookie…That’s right, the holidays are approaching once again and, unfortunately, so are the extra calories. But, there’s no need to shun your holiday favorites this year. With proper planning you can make room for all the rich flavors of the season and your jeans will still make room for you!
Creating a weight prevention plan for the holidays is as simple as a cup of tea. Diet teas provide a natural way to curb overeating, increase metabolism, assist in digestion, and burn fat. A proper tea weight-maintenance program covers you throughout your day—from that first morning cup to a cozy night cap. Getting comfortable with the right routine and teas for you will set you for success when the holidays arrive.
Teas Targeting Your Weight-Maintenance Goals
Green Tea. In addition to the numerous health benefits of green tea, a recent study* suggests drinking 4 cups of green tea per day for 8 weeks decreases body weight and BMI. The versatility of Japanese Matcha makes it an excellent choice throughout the day. Also try Fruta Bomba Green Tea for its sweet, refreshing flavor.
Oolong Tea. Oolong teas may assist metabolism and digestion. Start your holiday morning with a cup of Maharaja Chai Oolong and begin burning fat right away.
Mate Tea. Mate teas help to suppress hunger. It’s so easy to over-indulge during holiday feasts. Sipping cups of Mate teas throughout the morning may keep you from running back for second helpings later. A rich, roasted cup of JavaVana Mate pairs beautifully with your Thanksgiving meal. And the high-caffeine boost is great for battling that post-turkey lull–just remember to stop sipping a few hours before bed!
Pu-Erh Tea. Pu-Erh teas are a popular choice for dieters because they naturally increase metabolism. They’re also good for digestion. Enjoy a cup during the day to counter all those tasty left-overs. They may keep you burning fat from Thanksgiving straight through the winter holidays, so there’s no need to include calories in your New Years resolution. Try Skinny Chai Pur-Erh.
Tea Blends. Get creative! Many of our weight-loss teas pair beautifully. Raspberry Riot Lemon Mate and Weight To Go! Pu-Erh make a sweet and fruity ending to an early holiday feast. Craving chocolate? Blend My Morning Mate with Cocoa Praline Tart and you won’t miss dessert! Also try the Diet Tea Blend.
White Teas. White teas may break down body fat. With very little caffeine, they make an excellent choice to relax at the end of a long and busy day. Cuddle up by the fire with a cup of Lavender Dreams White Tea for the perfect finish to your holiday.

Go ahead and start trying out diet teas early to find the perfect balance for your schedule and goals. Cheers for an informative article, I wasn’t familiar with some of the other teas you have listed here.
I haven’t managed to develop a palate for oolong tea, I find it too fragrant. But I can say that the weight loss impact of green tea is real. At least it works for me, sometimes I stop drinking it for one reason or other. But as soon as I start again I see a difference.
