Go for Green!
Green tea has gained popularity over traditional black tea in the United States with more and more studies that unveil what those in the Eest already knew: green tea is a healthy choice!
About Green Tea
Green tea goes through minimal processing after being picked. It’s withered, pan-fried or steamed, rolled and then dried. This process results in tea leaves rich in color and chlorophyll making it rich in essential vitamins and high in powerful antioxidants. It’s also low in caffeine, with only about 5-10% the caffeine of a cup of coffee.
Steep The Best Cup
Green tea steeps in water below boiling remperature (175-185 degrees) for between 1-2 minutes, depending on the leaf. Be careful not to use too much tea or too hot water as both of these will result in a bitter brew.
