‘East meets West’ over a cup of Teavana tea at historical summit

President Obama welcomed China’s President Hu Jintao to the White House on Wednesday, a visit intended to build trust and further positive change to the U.S.-China relationship into the 21st century. The summit concluded with a historical black-tie state dinner, the first in 13 years, attended by prominent Chinese Americans, U.S. political figures and some of the who’s who from many circles of America.  Teavana’s Golden Monkey Chinese black tea was chosen to compliment the meal. Once prized as an Imperial tribute tea, over a millennia ago, Golden Monkey is now truly a modern imperial tribute tea for these two world leaders.

Golden Monkey is the finest black tea from the Fujian province of China. Golden Monkey is a smooth tippy tea grown at 3000 ft elevation, rich with complex chocolaty undertones, is extremely low in tannins, yet rich in flavor. Award winning Golden Monkey originated during the Song Dynasty (960 – 1279) under Emperor Weizong.

WOW… Golden Monkey… When I first see this at the twitter. Tons of thinking in my mind.. What is actually in their mind when they do the first sip..

I really wonder…

anyway, Golden Monkey for sure is a wonderful TEA..

I am so PROUD to work for TEAVANA ibeen drinking TEA since 3 years old remenber when my DAD and MOM says to me Drink your Cup of Tea i respond Is to Hot Dad??? he reply just drink it so i did an d i Like it very Hot

All Americans ned to drink tea instead of soda and there would be alot less diabetes!!
