Crazy about Matcha!

Matcha Japanese Green Tea

Matcha is made from green tea leaves that are grown under shade and then delicately ground into a silky, smooth chartreuse powder.  In Japan, Matcha is an integral part of The Japanese Tea Ceremony, a cultural ritual, often practiced several times daily. The ceremony is a spiritual experience that embodies harmony, respect, purity & tranquility.  There are many ways to enjoy the benefits of Matcha in our everyday diets–from Matcha lattes to adding it to your morning smoothie or sprinkling it over yogurt or oatmeal. With naturally occuring vitamins A and C, potassium and iron, nutrients and fiber, this is a healthy alternative to a morning cup of coffee.

This is a lot of great information and very interesting. I’m actually thinking about trying some of this Matcha powder to see how it tastes in protein shakes. Great video, thanks!
