Sour Cherry Tea Cocktail

Sour Cherry Serenade black teaAdd a little kick to your evening or weekend with this iced tea cocktail. It’s a fruity concotion and you can make it as strong as you’d like. Here is how to make it:

Sour Cherry Tea Cocktail

Deceptively easy to make. Steep one teaspoon of the Sour Cherry Serenade tea in 4oz of almost-boiling water (not 8!) for 2 minutes. Add honey to taste and then add a few ice cubes to cool it down and increase the tea to 8oz total volume. Mix the tea with 2oz of Fresh Brandy or Cognac (adjust to your tastes) and pour into a cocktail glass – on or off the rocks. I recommend adding two cherries to top it off.

If you prefer non-alcoholic, substitute the Brandy with either White Grape Juice or even some chilled Sprite for something a little different. You can also experiment by adding other fruits or fruity teas to the mix.

Here’s to you! Enjoy.

mmm this sounds like a fabulous cherry drink! thinking of making a few mocktails this holiday weekend for my family!

That looks delicious!!!!

You know, my first thought is — fresh fruit soaked in this as a H’orderve! Man! Wouldn’t that just be delectable. Maybe even a few crushed nuts sprinkled over the top. Then rim the dish with a nice syrup including the cherry flavor. And why not top it off with a shot of brandy or cognac for flavor and elegance. I can see this dish being the choice of the evening.
