CNBC Says, Invest In Pu-Erh


Pu-Erh teas are praised for their rich, earthy flavors that develop after being aged for up to 15 years. These vintage teas from the Yunnan province of China can be rather pricy. However, after a recent buying surge over the past few years CNBC now reports that Pu-Erh prices have “dropped down to pre-boom levels” and are advising their readers to invest in Pu-Erh. Lv Linqiao, “a native of Yunnan who runs the ‘Pu’er Story’ tea shop in Shanghai,” noted that “Puer tea now sells for 200 odd yuan per kilogram, down from over 4000 yuan 2 years ago.”
