Are you a Tea Master?

Tea Masters ChallengeTeavana has launched the Tea Master’s Challenge to find the best blend of teas out there. You submit your favorite blend of Teavana teas and instantly get feedback from others. And the best tea will be selected as the overall contest winner – we will be selling this tea online in the fourth quarter as well! Do you have the best secret recipe? Join the challenge here.

Our very first entry was submitted by Christine Booras and sounds pretty good:

Tropical Lotus Flower
1 tsp Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls
1 tsp Rooibos Tropica
1 tsp Tupelo Honey or Agave Nectar

Steep in 8oz of water for 2-3 minutes.

You can see all the entries and vote on your favorites here. Over the next few weeks of the contest, we’ll keep you updated on the best blends and name Finalists, which are in the running for being chosen as the Best Blend. Enter now! And enjoy these teas.

The last time I happened to stop in a Teavana shop (always a pleasant experience) I tried a tea blend similar to Christine’s Tropical Lotus Flower. I believe it had green tea instead of the Rooibos. It would be fun to try it with the Rooibos Tropica as the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls is one of my favorites.

WOW! I am loving this contest. One of my favorite things is to try different blends. Please leave up these blends for awhile so we can try them. Even the ones that didn’t win. Possibly the top 50 or something. I can’t wait to try so many of these. What a fabulous contest.
Thanks

What would be really great is if there was post that was kept up with a running list of tea blend ideas. It’d be great to have a one click location that I can check from time to time to read through a list of ideas when I want to mix something new instead of having to fish around and read a bunch of different posts.
