Tea Blend of the Day: Manage-mint Tea

Honeybush Vanilla teaA funny name for a delicious tea. This one starts with our Honeybush Vanilla herbal tea. Honeybush is a close relative to Rooibos, but it has a taste more similar to honey. It also has some unique health characteristics: it acts as a mild expectorant, helps with allergies, regulates blood sugar and aids in digestion. Some studies suggest it will help with the problems associated with menopause.

But this blend adds additional flavor along with vitamins, minerals and EGCG from the Green tea. It’s a wonderfully healthy drink and is great for those who have digestive issues. Not only does the Honeybush Vanilla help with digestion, the Moroccan Mint green tea is great for digestion and preventing heartburn. Here’s the details:

Manage-mint Tea Blend: Use 2 teaspoons of Honeybush Vanilla herbal tea, 1 teaspoon of Sweet Amore Rooibos tea, and 1 teaspoon of Moroccan Mint Green tea. Heat water to 175-180 degrees and steep tea for one minute.

It also makes a great iced tea; just double the amount of tea and pour over ice when done. You can add additional honey or natural Rock Sugar if you have a sweet tooth. This is a great way to get some green tea in your diet if you aren’t normally a fan of green teas.
