Tea Blend of the Day: Healthy Dragon Tooth Tea
This one is a little more complex to make than the others, but well worth it. In the end you have an extremely healthy tea with a delightfully light, slightly fruity taste. The two white teas offer a lot of antioxidants and the Rooibos adds vitamins and minerals. Here’s the blend:
Healthy Dragon Tooth Tea blend: Heat water to just before boiling (175 degrees). Steep 1 teaspoon of Silver Needle Organic White Tea, 1 teaspoon of Apple Lemon Pomegranate Rooibos Tea, and 1 teaspoon of Tupelo Honey for 3 minutes. At the end of 3 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of Queen of Babylon White Tea and steep another 45 seconds. Then pour and serve. If you have a sweet tooth, you can also add 1 teaspoon of Rock Sugar at the start.
I’m actually not sure where the name comes from - perhaps someone around here just made it up and it stuck. But the tea is very delicious and works all day. I recommend drinking it hot, since White Teas in general taste better hot.
In addition to the antioxidants (which help with cancer), this tea is very good at detoxifying your body, helps with allergies, and helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles (anti-aging). Anytime you can get more white tea, you should! Let me know what you think - and enjoy!
