Tea Blend of the Day: Peach Cobbler tea

We continue our string of teas that replace desserts (maybe ’substitute for’ is a better term). Today’s is Peach Cobbler that sweet treat everyone loves.

Peach Cobbler tea blend: Use 2 teaspoons of Peach Tranquility herbal tea plus 1 teaspoon of Almond Biscotti black tea. Heat water to just before boiling and then steep tea for 2-3 minutes. I recommend adding a touch of German Rock Sugar or Hawaiian White Honey as well for sweetness.

The black tea kicks in some caffeine to this peachy treat and adds the almond biscotti, which is reminiscent of the breading in peach cobbler. I did use more of the herbal tea than the black tea, but this is matter of taste. However herbal teas steep more slowly, so you need a bit more just to even out the two tea flavors.

And this one is very healthy as you might expect. The herbal tea adds lots of vitamins and antioxidants. The black tea helps to lower cholesterol and stimulate the heart and circulatory system. In all, it’s a great treat that works most times of the day (not too late, because of the caffeine in the black tea).

This one comes from our San Mateo, California store at Hillsdale Mall. Stop in and tell them how great it is!
