Tea Blend of the Day: Clarity Tea

Longjing green tea is typically called Dragonwell in the U.S. and is probably the most well known Chinese green tea. It also has a unique property that seems to boost mental alertness and the ability to concentrate. This is in addition to the myriad of health benefits that normal green teas give you.

But a lot of Americans prefer a scented or flavored green tea, rather than just drinking Dragonwell alone. So this mix of flavors is delicious, but still gives you the mental clarity you expect from a Dragonwell tea:

Clarity Tea Blend: Dragonwell + Rooibos Lemon Twist + Strawberry Kiwi Herbal Tea. Because the rooibos and herbal tea takes longer to steep, I recommend putting a little more of those two. Perhaps a teaspoon of Dragonwell, and two teaspoons each of the Rooibos Lemon and Strawberry Kiwi. Steep just as you would the Dragonwell green tea: Heat water to 175-180 degrees (just before boiling) and steep for 1.5 - 2 minutes.

Even if you love green tea, this is worth trying. It is a delicious twist with a lot of health benefits including a big dose of antioxidants. And try it just after lunch, when you need a little help concentrating on work!
