Earthquake relief in Chinese Tea Province

Last week’s earthquake in China hit the Sichuan Province, which has long been a producer of excellent Chinese teas, particularly green tea. The earthquake has killed more than 32,000 and that number is expected to rise. In the meantime, the area needs relief help from the rest of the world community. You can give here to help those affected by the earthquake in China. The Chinese embassy in the U.S. is asking for aid and money to help those affected by the earthquake.

Teavana as a company gives 1% of profits from our teas to CARE International to help those in the tea-making areas of the world. You can see more details here.
